On October 31, 2007 Alpha Ministries certified some 38 faith based recovery support counselors.  These men and women have completed the training necessary to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude needed to give vital support to people trying to recover from a variety of addictions. Their knowledge includes not only the underlying causes of addiction, but also the application of the gospel of grace as a solution.  The skills they have refined are the personal skills, communication skills, and relational skills necessary to restore, comfort, and support those in recovery.  Their attitude is best summarized by the unconditional, initiating, consistent, sacrificial, and intelligent love of Jesus Christ. We want to honor these graduates and pray for them as they continue to provide recovery support counseling in a variety of settings.
